Last night was the first night in our new home...the Capalaba High Auditorium...and it was awesome. So much better than being in the class room. We had so much room and were able to break into kata groups and not be stepping on each others toes. We had 6 new students last night experiencing GKR Karate for the first time. They all told me they had lots of fun and would be back next week.
I said in the previous post that I would have photo's each week....but as I left my camera at home and forgot to tell Sensei Ben to bow out and take some pics...I don't have any new ones to put up this week. Anyway I thought I would look back through the old ones and see what I could find. Can you see yourself in any of thes
e. You might be wearing a different coloured belt.

TRAINING TIP - It's Winter, It's cold...To prevent injury you must warm up before each class. By the time we bow in, you should be already warm. Use the time before class to do some skipping, some stretching or better yet go through your kata a couple of times. This is a sure fire way to warm yourself up ready to train hard.
